ATHENS GUIDED TOUR BY BUS AND THE ACROPOLIS MUSEUM

With this bus tour, we will explore central Athens and the famous Acropolis, seeing modern and ancient sites.
Listening attentively to the local guide, you will visit the Panathenaic Stadium where the first modern Olympic Games took place in 1896. Next, we will pass by the ancient Royal Palace which today houses the Greek Parliament and is guarded by the Evzones in their uniforms traditional colors. Directly opposite Parliament is the Unknown Soldier Memorial. We will also see the Presidential Residence, the incredible Temple of Olympian Zeus and Hadrian's Arch.
A few meters away, on Panepistimiou Avenue, we will have the chance to see the three famous neoclassical buildings of the Academy, the University and the National Library.
After visiting central Athens, we will head to the famous Acropolis, a renowned masterpiece of classical Athens. We will climb the Sacred Rock and visit the Propylaea, the temple of Athena Nike, the Erechtheion and of course the Parthenon. There we will marvel at the city and sea views from the top of the Acropolis. Just opposite the Holy Rock is the New Acropolis Museum which we will visit, a wonderful building which houses the archaeological finds of the Acropolis.
