5-DAY GREECE CLASSIC GRAND TOUR
DEPARTING FROM ATHENS

Day 1: Exploring Nafplion and Epidaurus

Our journey begins in Athens where we board a comfortable bus heading to the Corinth Canal, a feat of engineering that connects the Ionian Sea to the Aegean Sea. Our next stop takes us to Epidaurus where we are amazed by the famous ancient theater known worldwide for its remarkable acoustics.
After this foray into Antiquity, we continue our journey to Nafplio where we settle into a luxurious hotel. In the afternoon, you have a choice: explore the old town of Nafplio, the first capital of modern Greece steeped in charm and history or visit the Nafplio Art Gallery, housing works by Greek artists famously inspired by the Greek Revolution.
Dinner and overnight stay at our comfortable hotel in Nafplio, where you can relax and soak up the enchanting atmosphere of this picturesque town.

Day 2: Exploration of Mycenae and Olympia

After a delicious breakfast, we cross the plain of Argos to reach Mycenae, a legendary ancient city associated with King Agamemnon and the epic Trojan War. There we explore the archaeological site of Mycenae and discover the tomb of Agamemnon, a fascinating discovery of ancient Greek history.
In the afternoon, after an optional stop for shopping and lunch, we continue our journey to Olympia the birthplace of the Olympic Games passing through the historic cities of Tripolis and Megalopolis.
Overnight in Olympia where you can immerse yourself in the Olympic spirit and the grandeur of Antiquity.

Day 3: Discovery of Delphi and Arachova

We start the day with an exploration of the archaeological site of Olympia where we discover the temple of Zeus, the temple of Hera, the altar of the Olympic flame, the stadium and the archaeological museum rich in treasures of Greek history.
Then we pass through Patras and make a brief stop in Rion before crossing the Corinth Bay via the Rion-Antirion bridge. Our journey then takes us through the picturesque town of Nafpaktos and following the coastal road we reach Delphi once considered the navel of the ancient world. In the afternoon we have the opportunity to visit the charming mountain village of Arachova renowned for its traditional architecture and handicraft products.
Overnight in Delphi, where history and natural beauty meet to create an unforgettable experience.

Day 4: Exploration of Meteora and Kalambaka

In the morning, we explore the archaeological site and museum of Delphi delving into the mysteries of the oracle and Greek Antiquity. Then we set off for Meteora through central Greece where majestic monasteries perched atop impressive rock formations await us.
Overnight in Kalambaka, at the foot of Meteora, where you can immerse yourself in the spirituality and natural beauty of this unique region.

Day 5: Return to Athens

In the morning, we go to Meteora to visit the magnificent monasteries, witnesses of human devotion and perseverance. Then we continue our route to Athens, making a moving stop at the monument of Leonidas at Thermopylae, recalling the legendary courage of the Spartans.
Return to Athens at the end of the day, taking with us unforgettable memories of our exploration of the treasures of the Peloponnese and central Greece.

When visiting the Meteora Monasteries, ladies must wear a long skirt and gentlemen must wear long pants
